He is survived by: his wife Peggy DePuy of South Hill; his sons, Alex Gentry (Brenda) of South Hill and Dennis Gentry (Debbie) of Lanexa, VA; his grandchildren, Kristen Jones (Kris) of Glen Allen, VA and Landrum Gentry (Jill) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his great grandchildren, Katy Adams of Myrtle Beach, SC and Levi Jones of Glen Allen, VA; his children, Shelley Melton of Richmond, VA, Ellen Beeden of Richmond, VA, Lorraine Paylor of Richmond, VA, Jeanne Sandridge of Richmond, VA and Tony Chambers of Florida; and his brothers, Ronnie DePuy of Richmond and John DePuy of Youngstown.
