He was predeceased by: his former wife Josephine Foster Hertel (Macalino); his brother Donald W. Foster; and his parents, Silas Donald Foster and Betsy Sears Taylor Foster. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan F. Sullivan of Marshfield, MA, Judith A. Foster of South Riding, VA and Gene Emerson Foster of Jupiter, FL.; his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Foster (Sawyer) of Jupiter, FL and Mary Foster (Sullivan) of Sagamore Beach, MA.; and his friend Herb Mason of Claremont, NH.. He is also survived by extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
