Though Emmett may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emmett touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his parents, Kristina Brooks and Mike Brooks (Michelle); his sister Denisha Brooks; his uncles, Rick Mallory and Derek Darnell Brooks; his grandparents, Rick and Kim Mallory; and his great-grandparent JoAnn Mallory. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
