He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hensel Hackney, Sr. and Catherine Weaver Hackney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Holston Hackney; his sister Lynn Evans (Don); his children, Matt Hackney (Beth) and Jodi Jackson (Scott); his grandchildren, Sam Jackson, Ben Hackney (Kerry), Marie Hackney and Hannah Williams (Bodhi); and his great grandchildren, Daniel Hackney and Isla Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
