She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Melvin Brown and Roburley Agnes Farmer; her husband Clarence Eugene Henson; her close friend Bert Stevens; and her sisters, Nancy Holthouser and Lillian Culler.
She is survived by: her sons, Hiram Henson (Barbara), Cecil Henson (Rose), Timothy Henson, Donell Henson and Jason Henson; and her siblings, James Brown, Rita Jo Horne and Donna Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
