She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father William Thomas Swengros; her husband William Rush Blakely Jr. (Austria); her brother Thomas Stephen Swengros; her son-in-law Ronald Ashton Slaughter; her children, William Rush Blakely III (Alexandra) of Loxahatchee Florida, Mary Barbara Taylor (Rob) of Brunswick County, VA, Patricia Blakely Slaughter of Chester, VA. and Thomas Robert Blakely (Lorena) of Rota, Spain.; her grandchildren, Matthew Rush Blakely (Miranda) and Lauren Taylor Slaughter; her great grandchildren, Adam, Ian and Angelina Blakely; and her siblings, Claire Campo (Thomas), William Swengros (Janet), Ethel De Monaco, George Swengros (Judy) and Charlie Swengros (Janie).

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Maryknoll Missionaries or The Disabled American Veterans.
