She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth C. Ywin and Josephine Ywin; and her brother Kenneth Ywin (Edward (Ed) Gurney). She is survived by: her siblings, Jennifer Beatson, Geoffery and Michael Ywin; her stepdaughters, Caroline, Amanda and Joanna Duncan; her nieces and nephews, Arthur, Charles Beatson, Maytita Ywin, Bandu Ywin and Eugene Ywin; and her caregiver Cherry Banzuela.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the National Funeral Home (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) will be greatly appreciated.
