He is survived by : his children, Thomas and Megan Giebel; his parents, Ed Giebel and Mary Giebel of Chester, VA; his sisters, Patricia Shell (Blair), Barbara Hamilton (Scott) and Susan Giebel (Matthew Grabowy); and his nephews, Graham Shell and Aiden Hamilton.
In his spare time, he coached basketball, baseball, and soccer, was a loyal volunteer at his local food bank, and his blood donations numbered in the gallons.
