He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Owen Hardman and Mary Fiedler Hardman; and his brother Charles Stanley Hardman. He is survived by: his wife Martha Scott Hardman; his son Owen R. Hardman (Kimberly) of Spencer; his siblings, Thomas F. Hardman (Susan) of Spencer, WV and Sarah H. Giachino (Nick) of Wilmington, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Donna F. Hardman of Charlotte, NC and Margaret Koegler (Alan) of Meadows.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Spencer Memorial Cemetery.
