He is survived by : his children, Cheryl Simmons, Bonnie Tatum, Beverly Tatum, Brenda Redd (LaMark), Caesar Tatum (Mary) and James B. Tatum (Monika); and his siblings, Maggie Penn, Linda Conner, Betty Tatum, Frank Tatum (Seberina), Thomas Tatum (Ann) and John Willie Tatum. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
