We announce the death of April Marie Simpson Heddleston of Sperryville, Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan R. Simpson and Marion E. Simpson; her brother Heath; and her nephew Trevor. She is survived by: her husband Jon; her children, Jonathan (Sarah) of Fairfax Station, Chad (Elizabeth) of Roanoke, Bret of Charlottesville, Joy Ashbaugh (Christopher) of Buffalo and Jill Chiu of Taiwan; her granddaughters, Norah, Maeve, Ingrid, Sophie, Flora, Noelle and Hope; and her brothers, Allan Bruce Simpson (Jane) of Mukilteo and Scot Simpson (Leah) of Edmonds, Washington..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Sperryville Cemetery.
