In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his father Hoover Yau; and his brother Francis Yau. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Yau; his daughters, Ashley Yau (Wells Sherman) and Courtney Yau; his mother Tomiko Yau; his brothers, Tommy Yau and Hoover Yau; his pet Kuma; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Goff (Hilda) and Donna Baker (Dennis). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
