It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmitt Bruce Marshall of Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Viola Mills Marshall; his son Donald Bruce Marshall; his parents, E. Solon Marshall and Daisy Marshall; his brothers, Ryland, Marion and Mason; and his nephews, Daniel, Michael Sr. and Michael Jr..

He is survived by : his daughter Donna Smith (Michael); his daughter-in-law Peggy Sue Marshall; his grandsons, Ross Smith and Kevin Marshall (Leslie); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Kallie, Haley, William and Emma; his great great grandchildren, Audrey and Waylon; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Marshall, Russell Tignor and Helen Crittenden; and his caregivers, Kayla, Debbie, Linda, Wanda, Christina and Moose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
