He was predeceased by: his wife Linda L. Gomez; his parents, Carmen Almeida and Jose Gomez; and his brother William Almeida. He is survived by: his children, Raymond Gomez (Kristina), Robert Gomez (Maggie), Mary'Peggy'Gomez and Ben Gomez (Chuck); his grandchildren, Samantha Gomez, Amanda Gomez, McKayla Gomez and Rebecca Gomez; and his sisters, Lucy Butler (Ron), Olivia Avalos, Linda Garcia (Jesse) and Kathy Almeida. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
