She is survived by: her husband Clayton Apperson Jr.; her children, Martha Edmonson (Steve), Michael Powell (Amy) of Michael's Towing Service, Kenneth Powell (Christi) and Angela Acors (Curtis); and her grandchildren, Robert Edmonson II (Laura), Kenneth Powell II (Alex), Michael Powell II, Trenton Powell (Samantha), Dillion Powell (Rachael) and Rebecca Powell (Casey). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the American Diabetes Association (https://diabetes.org) or the American Heart Association in her honor.
