He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Mackes and Betty Mackes. He is survived by: his wife Janice Mackes; his children, Robert Jr. (Buddy) and Julie Snyder (Gregory J.) of Mechanicsville, Virginia.; his sisters, Jean Depew of Scranton and Beverly Mackes of Scranton; his grandchildren, Johnathan Snyder (Marissa) and LeeAnn Snyder; and his great grandchild Audrey Jane Snyder.
