She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Harold "Hal" Chambers, III; her parents, Christie Lafayette Greene and Ruby Baker Greene; her brother Buddy Greene; and her nephew Phillip Godsey.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie "Candy" F. Burrell (Tim) and James B. Farrar, Jr. (Denise); her grandsons, Edward "Eddie" Burrell (Mariah), Jacob Farrar and Michael Burrell (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Isabella Burrell, Ember Burrell, Xander and Aria; her sisters, Audrie Ragland, Evelyn Garrett (Robert) and Thresea Lewis (Jeff); and her sister-in-law Nancy Greene. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
