Elizabeth wrote a sympathy message

“We were neighbors in Amityville. Dee was for a bit my other half. Her family was held together by each other. I have memories of early years. I lost track of her and we went two seperate ways. Some day we will meet again. Prayers for you Dee and condolences for your family. Our parents are up waiting and you have reunited. Peace Dee, live in the light. Cathy Martin Klubertanz”

“I don't remember when I met Liz, but know it was from her younger brothers. Liz always loved her family and would do anything to protect them. She was definitely one of a kind, a very special lady. Which, nothing ever seemed to get her down. Her smile, her laughter will never be forgotten, and neither will she. Liz, you are missed and I pray you are resting in peace. Your friend, Rene”

“Very sad to learn of Liz's death. Met her at the YWCA (NYC) in 1968.  At the time, she was a student at a French language school in Manhattan and worked part-time at Schraft's as a waitress.  She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel.  She lived for a time in Germany and traveled to many countries in Europe.  Like all of us, she experienced good times and difficult times throughout her life but always had a smile on her face and did not hold grudges. Miss you, your friend, Lyn.”
