We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 66, Gregory Thomas Lyons of Springfield, Virginia, born in Alexandria, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gregory Thomas Lyons to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald Lyons and Janet Lyons; his stepson Christopher Beech; his brother-in-law Antonio Lara (Tony); and his parents-in-law, David Wilson and Frances Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Cathy Lyons; his stepson Stephen Beech (Kyley); his grandson Walker of Leesburg, VA; his sister Linda Lara of Springfield, VA; his niece Tarina Lara (Reggie) of Fairfax, VA; and his siblings-in-law, David Wilson (Nancy-Lynn), Patti O'Neill (Bob) and Lori Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel (158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA 20175). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bungalow Lake House (46116 Lake Center Plaza, Cascades, VA).

Greg asked that any donations be given to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org) or the American Lung (https://www.lung.org) Greg's family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many doctors, nurses and staff who supported Greg in his medical journey, ultimately giving him more time to share with family and friends.
