He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, James M (Margaret) and Peter J (Karen); his sister Ellen; his siblings-in-law, Eileen and Paul Lafata; his grandchildren, James R (Victoria), Brendan, Evan, Patricia, Jeremy and Mara; and his great grandchild Aubrey.
