It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet E. Simmons of Springfield, Virginia, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Orville L. Simmons; her parents, Henry Lunceford and Margaret Lunceford; and her siblings, Wally, Bo Lunceford and Joan Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Allison Simmons-Tadlock; her grandsons, Justin, Tyler Tadlock and Jorge DelCid; and her great grandchild Daniel Romero Lopez.
