He is survived by: his children, Zaneta Berryman-Haynes (James) of Charleston, SC, Latania Berryman of Talahassee, FL, Takesha Juggings of Triangle, VA, Sharlise Paige of New Haven, CT, Octavius Kindred of New Haven, CT, Lewis Berryman, Jr. (Lawanna) of Douglasville, GA, James Fox of Fredericksburg, VA, Chastity Middleton of Dale City, VA and Tramont Berryman of New Haven, CT; his goddaughter Manesha Johnson of Dumfries, VA; his close friend Crystal Sykes Newkirk; his stepparent Mrs James Carter, Sr.; his siblings, Lynnwood Berryman (Josette), Ralph Berryman, James Carter, Jr. (Jocelyn), Andrew Carter, Jesse Carter (Jean), Calhoun Berryman, Jr., Robert Carter (Carmella), Phillip Carter (Rhonda), Billy Washington, Tim Berryman, James Jackson (Queenie), Floyd Jackson Paul Jackson (Sheila), Dora Whiting (Wesley), Rosie Wells (Steve) and Wanda Berryman; his brothers-in-law, John Middleton and Maurice Pendleton; his uncle Freddie Johnson; and his aunts, Betty Ann and Goldie Berryman. He is also survived by 28 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
