It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Thompson Connelly of Springfield, Virginia, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Franklin Thompson and Mary Irene Seiss Thompson; her children, Edward Gregory Connelly and Kathleen Dawn Connelly; her brother John Thompson (Kozico); her brother-in-law Clint Mulks; and her great grandchild Madeline Boles.

She is survived by : her daughter Loretta Connelly Janiszewski (Michael) of Hallwood, VA; her siblings, Barbara Keyser (William), James and Richard Thompson; her grandchildren, Sarah Wolff, Heather Love, Nathaniel Connelly, Colleen Wright, Laura Conly and Stephanie Selby; and her caregiver Cherry Moser.
