As Nida departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nida may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nida leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Meile Mickus and Tadas Mickus; her brother Paul; her sister-in-law Patricia; and her nephews, Matthew and Andrew. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers/donations, and in the spirit of Aloha, Nida asked that folks simply do something nice for someone they don't know.
