He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Theodore and Elizabeth Adelaide Geiger (Volmering); his brothers, Herbert and Donald Geiger; and his in-laws, Arnold, Gladys Edwards (Hoppe), Evelyn Edwards, Edith (Edwards), Bill Schuman, Keith, Marilyn Edwards (McCollough) and Margaret Geiger (Scanlon).
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Geiger (Edwards); his children, Brenda Geiger Gardiner, Jeffrey Geiger (Deborah), Lisa Geiger Croce (Thomas), Paula Geiger and Pamela Geiger Anderson (Robert); his grandchildren, Emily, Rebecca, Ethan, Rachel, Megan, Caroline and Caitlin; his siblings, Gerald (Shirley), Kenneth (Carolyn), Cornelius (Carolyn), David (Hazel) and Ruth Ann Kucharczyk (Joseph); and his sister-in-law Jean Geiger (Kirsch). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
