She was predeceased by: her parents, Athanasia Milionis and Christos Milionis; her husband Marios J. Kacoyannakis; her daughter Tina Athanasia Kacoyannakis; her siblings, Nicholas C. Milionis and Cleopatra Milionis; and her siblings-in-law, Thalia Milionis, Evangelos (Geraldine Kacoyannakis) and Joan Kacoyannakis.
She is survived by: her son John C. Kacoyannakis of Roslindale, MA; her siblings, Margaret Schwarz (Robert) of Selbyville, DE, Constantin Milionis of Wilmington, DE and Alexander Milionis (Carol) of West Springfield, MA; her brother-in-law Eleftherios Kacoyannakis (Al) of East Longmeadow, MA; and her granddaughters, Alexandra, Cassandra and Melina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral (22 St George Rd, Springfield, MA 01104). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Bessie's memory to the Saint George Endowment Trust, 22 Saint George Road, Springfield, MA 01104.
