She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward T. Barnes and Ruby Ellis Barnes; her husband Liston Elkins; and her sister Jackie Tuggle. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Reed (Tom) of Stafford, VA and Judy Barnes of Lumberton, NC; and her sister Elaine Fields of Lumber Bridge. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
