“I'll share a memory that I'll always have of Don. Both of our families attended Mass at St. Francis in VA. After Mass, we would sometimes see Don with his wife and daughters. My daughter, who was small at the time, would always run up to Don and give him a hug. She never did this with anyone else. This is something that Don had. Everyone was drawn to him. So...Finally brother the battle is over. The time has come to lay down your burden and fight the war no more. See you on the other side Don.”
