He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Thompson and Helen Thompson; and his brother Frank Thompson. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Thompson; his children, Lawrence Thompson (Anne Marie), Helen Thompson (Jim Mitchell), Mary Fedorochko (Gary), Richard Thompson (Lori) and Susan Thompson (Ollie); his grandchildren, Molly Reis, Tara, Kyle, Aubrey, Rory, Aidan, Fiona, Padraig, Casey Joyce, Sean and Neil; and his great grandchildren, Mia, Brody and Brooks.
