He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene Edens and Ora Lee Hight Edens; and his sister Beulah E. Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Wyvona G. Edens; and his sons, Terry Edens (Karen) and Scott Edens. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; 3 nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lancaster Memorial Park (2210 NC-561, Louisburg, NC 27549). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
