He was predeceased by: his wife Lorene Fritter Hume of Stafford; his daughter Diane M. Purks; his siblings, Mary Frances Hall, Ruby Kidd and William L. Hume; and his parents, Alexander Hume and Nora Hume.
He is survived by: his sons, Franklin T. Hume (Val) of Stafford and Donald L. Hume (Mary) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Tina Otter and Mike Moser; and his friends, Willam R. Baker of Stafford and Jeannie Duris of Spotsylvania.
