He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Velez and Barbara Velez of Velez; and his son Alejandro. He is survived by: his child Columbia; his significant other Verna; his sons, Jairo, Jr., Jonathan and Brian; his daughters-in-law, Cynthia, Jovanna and Joan; and his friends, Patty and Ron. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many grandkids and great-grandkids; nieces; nephews; cousins.
