It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Terry of Stafford, Virginia, born in War, West Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marvin Terry and Olivine Terry; and his siblings, Charles Terry, Willie May Wright and Brenda Laney.

He is survived by: his wife Hazel Terry; his children, Gregory "Scott" Terry (Shirin), Susie Terry, Annette Shelton (William) and Wendi Segar; and his grandchildren, Jasmine Terry, Tyler Terry, Will, Luke Shelton and Katie Segar.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brooke Volunteer Fire and Rescue, or to Andrew Chapel Church, Brooke, VA.

“Jim. As I used to call him. One of kind, true friend, that come along once in your lifetime. I met Jim thru another friend and from that day onwards, we became good friends. We also worked together in Triangle. We had a tradition to have a Christmas lunch every year. We could not do one last year. I will miss talking to Jim, like I used to on my way going home.
