He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Morgan and Carrie Morgan; his brother Donnie Morgan; and his granddaughter Kristina Sullivan-Heiston. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Brien Morgan; his children, Virginia Brooks (Danny), Debbie Hood (Harold), Bobbijo Pennington (Jimmy), Patti Buckle (Brian), John Kirby Colson and Amiti Colson (Alex); his grandchildren, Courtney, Lindsey, Daniel, Vicki, Jessica, Jami, Karson, Ryan and Levi; and his siblings, Sue Harper, Kathy Hatcher (David) and Michael Morgan (Peggy). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church building fund, 1193 White Oak Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
