She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Searles and Catherine Searles; and her husband Thomas K. Staples Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Angela M. Rodgers (Troy), Thomas K. Staples Jr. (Cindy) and Lisa A. O'Hara; and her sister Janice Wondree. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
