It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Claire Neumann (Stafford, Virginia), born in Burlington, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul C. Van Bolhuis and Rosalind C. Yonk; her stepfather Harold Yonk; and her siblings, Marsha Drury, David, Richard and Donald Van Bolhuis.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Neumann; her children, Michael Neumann, Bethany, Laura Neumann (Kevin Powell) of Kirkland, WA, Thomas Neumann (Adriana Manrique) of Berwyn Heights, MD and Steven Neumann (Miranda Bureau) of Alexandria, VA; her grandchildren, Abigale, Grayson, Thaddeus Powell, Leo and Stella Neumann; and her sister Annette Roesing of Burlington, WI..
While living in the Fredericksburg area, she volunteered many hours working on projects for "From the Heart Stitchers," including stitching chemo hats for local cancer centers, hats for premature babies, scarves for the homeless, and many face-masks during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the National Foundation for Cancer Research http://www.nfcr.org, Feeding America http://www.feedingamerica.org, or Children International http://www.children.org.
