She was predeceased by: her father Ron Schmitz. She is survived by: her husband Michael Cleary; her children, Jay Schmitz of Colorado Springs, Michael Cleary, Alicia Miller (Robbie) of Stafford, Virginia and Trevor Cleary (Nicole) of Seattle; her grandchildren, Xaven, Vazer Schmitz, Mason and McKenzie Miller; her mother Rose Schmitz; and her siblings, Mark Schmitz, Jim Schmitz and Nancy Schmitz.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service (186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, VA 22554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stafford Memorial Park (154 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, VA 22554).
