He was predeceased by : his daughter Paulete Kukrak. He is survived by : his close friend Brenda Decatur; his children, Pete Sullivan and Valerie Galyen; and his grandchildren, Darlene Solt, Mellissa Sullivan and Diana Galyen. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Oak Volunteer Fire Department.
