It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill Hemphill of Stafford, Virginia, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merrill Hall and Ruby Hall; her husband Albert D. Hemphill (Al); her children, Pamela Caton, Dr. Merri Davis and Albert Hemphill (Patty); her grandchildren, Susan Cassell and Scott Andrew Thompson (Debbie); her sons, Alex Sutor, Bill Hemphill and John Hemphill (Carmen); her great grandchildren, Mike Roarke, Nick Thompson (Taylor), Philip Thompson and Kevin Thompson; and her great great grandchild Cooper Thompson.
