He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Gunn and Jessie Mae Gunn; his brothers, Thomas Gunn (Deloris) and Edward Gunn; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Brightful III and Barbara Jean Brightful.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Gena Gunn and Micheal Gunn; his brother Gilbert Gunn (Gretchen); and his sisters-in-law, Jeannette Gunn and Shirley Fossett (Gene). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
