She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McFarland and Edna McFarland; her husband George E. Burns Sr.; and her son-in-law Lewis S. Hailey. She is survived by: her children, George Burns Jr. (Becky), Kathy Burns Mitchell, Jessica Burns and Martha Burns Hailey; and her grandchildren, Michael Mitchell, Cori Hailey and Lewis W. Hailey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
