He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Ferguson (Ferguson); his parents, Frederick William Schneider and Elsie Ervine Schneider (Schiller); and his siblings, Frederick William Schneider, Jr. and Joan Lorraine Schneider.

He is survived by: his daughter Kristin Bond; his son-in-law David; his granddaughters, Hannah and Emma; his children, Leslie Schneider and Richard Schneider; his daughter-in-law Carroll; his daughter Fiona Schneider; and his brothers, Edward Schneider (Nolie) and Robert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
