He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Cristina "Cris" Helbes Delan Renfrew; parents: Doreen and Thomas Renfrew; sons: Jonathan (Jessica) and Jason (Samantha Hughes); grandchildren: Callan and Reya; aunts and uncles: Leonard and Diane Choiniere, Stephen and Kathryn Choiniere, Robert and Barbara Choiniere, Catherine and Gary Lusty, and Lorraine Choiniere; late brother: Michael; late maternal grandparents: Doris and Leonard Choiniere; late paternal grandparents: Harvey and Beatrice Renfrew; late in-laws: Adilena Helbes and Patrosinio Kalsada Delan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service (186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, VA 22554). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to Tunnel to Towers, The Mount Church, or Gunston Bible Church.
