With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Fillis (Stafford, Virginia), born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Scott may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Fillis and Paula Fillis; and his sister Gabriele Woody Riffe. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his son Ryan; and his brothers, John Fillis (Jill) and Pete Fillis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service (186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, VA 22554). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
