It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Polhamus of Stafford, Virginia, who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Marshall Lavinus and Mildred Louise Allen; and her husband James "Jim" Polhamus. She is survived by: her son Edgar Porter III (Tracy); her granddaughter Katie Hannigan (Mike); her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Martin (Ben) and Amanda Lion (Craig); her great grandchildren, Leo, Greyson and Max; and her siblings, Mary Ann Gardner (Frank), Thomas Marshall Lavinus Jr., Bruce David Lavinus, Phillip Steven Lavinus, Patrick Allen Lavinus and Gary Lavinus.
