He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shackelford and Elizabeth Shackelford; his siblings, George "Moose" Shackelford and Peggy Hicks; and his son Roger Kile.
He is survived by: his close friend Donna Kile; his son David Kile (Emily); his grandchildren, Cindy (Colton), Roger (Whitney), Chelsea (Jack), Jordyn, Anastasia, Destiny, Alyssa, Katie, David, Jr. and Addiysn; and his siblings, Annie (Gene), Georgia (Howard), Mary O'Shea, Charles (Vicki) and James (Shelly). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
