He was predeceased by: his father Thomas P. Shelton. He is survived by: his mother Frances R. Shelton; his brothers, Dennis Shelton (Pam) and Darrell Shelton (Kim); his siblings' children, Kimberly Turner (Jimmy), Bryan Shelton, Stephen Shelton and Travis Shelton (Rachel); his great-nephew Christian Thomas Mumaw; and his great-nieces, Leila Marie and Rylie Claire Shelton.
