He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ennis and Virginia E. Ennis; his son Randy Ennis; his grandson Randy Lee Ennis; his son-in-law Horace Beach; his siblings, Joseph Ennis and Ruth Brooks; and his brother-in-law Henry Brooks.

He is survived by: his children, William Ennis (Sonia) and Carla Beach; and his sister Virginia Chewning (Henry Clay). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
