He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey "Tina" Wenzel; his son Bruce Wenzel; and his sister Jeannie Grooms. He is survived by: his daughters, Cassi Wenzel and Cammi Wenzel Stephens; his sisters, Sandra Conley (Bobby), Diane Stokley and Lila Newton Pugh (Ricky); and his grandson Grant Blevins.
