She was predeceased by: her parent Celastine Colbert; her husband James Elliott Jordan; her daughters, Kris and Lil Jordan; and her brother Charles Tyler.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Jordan (Dana) and Jeanne Carter of Phoenix, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Blair Jordan of Atlanta and Allegra Lawler (Jake); her great grandchild Xander; her grandchild Airik Carter; her great grandchildren, Armani, Brielle and Amiyah of Harrisonburg; her grandchildren, Amethyst Carter-Singh (Gurmeet) of Staunton, Amber Carter of Chicago and Skye Carter of Staunton; William Tyler and Miss Norma.

After the pandemic, she sold her home in Esmont and moved in with Dana and Paul.
